Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings across our fleet. The role requires framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, painting, and related tasks to keep units ready for customer use.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with customers and branch staff. A high school diploma, carpentry experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers and good communications skills are required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel as well as Williams Scotsman employees at various branch locations.
• Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• A current valid driver’s license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and perform repairs or readiness work including framing and finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more to a fleet of modular buildings.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote health and safety results in the branch.
• Perform check-in/out inspections of rented buildings and create floor plan drawings as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels of equipment/tools/parts needed for service tasks.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs and services to customers.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates at quality levels.
