Job summary

Numotion in the United States is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair complex manual and powered wheelchairs and other mobility devices, in both shop and field settings. You will apply knowledge of manufacturer specifications and current resources to ensure safe, reliable operation.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, driving to various sites, completing thorough documentation, educating customers, and maintaining equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Valid State Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record; travel to various locations may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop and in the field.
• Maintain stock equipment and ensure reliability for customer use.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop/warehouse.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation and cleanliness.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and on time, with required signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
• Perform minor equipment fitting and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in in-service training to stay updated on industry practices.
