Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician in Kennesaw, GA to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment at customer sites. The role requires travel to client facilities and meticulous service documentation.

You will work independently, diagnose equipment failures, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in field service, maintenance, or technical troubleshooting preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments.
• Customer-facing service experience with strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment directly at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Accurately complete service reports and maintain detailed maintenance documentation.
• Travel to customer sites to provide technical support, equipment repairs, and on-site assessments.
• Communicate equipment status and repair recommendations to customers in a professional manner.
