Qualifications

• Must have a technical certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical fields or equivalent years of professional field/technical experience.
• Experience with diesel, low voltage, and high voltage electrical systems is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team are essential.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret equipment schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical and/or electrical aspects of underground mechanical cutting equipment at mining/tunneling sites.
• Perform new equipment commissioning and customer-site training with minimal supervision.
• Travel to cover the Western United States with potential overseas training.
