Job summary

Abel Womack in Westborough, MA, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery‑powered lift trucks and other automated equipment.

You will troubleshoot with customers, perform on-site maintenance, and gain hands-on experience through extensive training and a company-issued service vehicle. A strong focus on quality service and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment with focus on quality, efficiency, and cost-effective maintenance.
• Experience with electrical fuel systems, sensor technology, hydraulics, PLCs, or charging systems (a plus).
• Ability to read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts representatives, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers, required.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build positive customer relationships by delivering excellent customer service.
• Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.
