Job summary

Champion Home Builders Inc. is seeking a dedicated Home Service Technician to execute warranty work on sold manufactured homes. You will repair common issues and ensure customers are satisfied with the service experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, parts handling, tool maintenance, and multi-trade repair skills in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finish work. Equal opportunity employer; non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot, reason and solve problems on site.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage work schedule by setting appointments with customers.
• Pickup parts from factory as needed and verify with orders.
• Install new parts or repair issues per work order.
• Maintain logbook per Department of Transportation guidelines.
• Keep company vehicle clean, stocked and serviced.
• Complete work orders and return to factory by mail or delivery.
• Demonstrate carpentry and repair skills across various trades.
