Job summary

Colanar is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation and robotic systems at our facility and at customer sites across North America.

The Field Service Technician will assist in assembly, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of automated equipment, travel frequently, and support equipment performance throughout its lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically to US/Canada.
• Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities for installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues.
• Assemble, repair, and test automation equipment.
• Maintain service records and customer communications.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to implement improvements.
