Job Summary
Road Mechanic – perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel and heavy construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty line equipment including power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently to avoid equipment downtime.
- Use hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting fundamentals to diagnose issues.
- Provide and manage personal mechanic tools of trade.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Document work performed and maintain equipment logs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
- 3–5 years of diesel or heavy construction equipment mechanical experience, preferably with generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations).
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required depending on location.
Physical Demands
Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50pounds or more, and work indoors/outdoors as required.

Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay: $24.05 – $33.06 per hour.
- Sign‑on bonus: $1,500.00.
