Job summary

Job Description Summary

Mechanic

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.
  • Build skills working on a variety of makes and models.
  • Develop a career track in service or operation management.
  • Work with an incredible team in a safety‑focused environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
Physical Demands

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required by the job.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39 per hour. Starting rates may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and experience.
