Job summary

Brame Specialty Company in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Machine Repair and Commercial Laundry Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain field-service equipment at customer locations. You will work closely with customers to ensure reliable operation of floor care machines and chemical dispensing systems, applying strong mechanical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.

This full-time, on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with REAL ID and a safe driving record.
• Experience servicing and repairing commercial floor care equipment is preferred.
• Strong electro mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Background in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or equipment repair is preferred.
• Ability to read schematic drawings and service information.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools and service management software.
• Able to work independently, manage your day, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.
• Steel-toe or composite toe shoes required.
• Able to pass background, MVR, and drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial floor care machines and related equipment in the field.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial laundry chemical dispensing systems and related components.
• Install replacement parts and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Use schematics and service information to identify problems and determine best repair solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers about status, recommendations, and next steps.
• Accurately document service activity and update daily reports and schedules.
• Maintain and stock the service van with tools, parts, and equipment.
