The role demands 5+ years of field service experience, ASSE credentials (6040/6030/6020), an Associate degree or technical training, and proficiency with MS 365.

Travel with a valid driver's license is required.

Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a qualified medical gas Field Service Technician for the Las Vegas, Nevada area. In this role you are expected to perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical gas equipment at customer facilities, complete relevant paperwork and reports, and generate and maintain critical relationships with existing customers.

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance and Repairs (85%) – Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on Medical Gas Products. Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning products, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and conduct repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Test and document operating parameters before and after maintenance and repairs. Provide walk‑through evaluations and basic system assessments.

• Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations.
• Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
• Serve as an ambassador for BeaconMedaes.
• Train and assist other Service Technicians as requested.
• Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as required.
• Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Always maintain a professional image through appearance and personal actions.
• Uphold a positive company brand through appropriate attention to the appearance of the company vehicle.
• Maintain the service vehicle per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Properly store and manage inventory levels of accuracy, to provide quick customer repairs.

Recordkeeping and Documentation (10%) – Complete job reports daily, timesheets weekly, expense reports should be turned in at least monthly and other job‑related paperwork as required.

Warranty Part Returns (5%) – Return parts replaced under warranty as requested by Technical Support, Quality or Service Management. Returns must be completed within two weeks.

Perform assigned duties in accordance with BeaconMedaes standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer. Perform additional assignments as required.

Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of technical field service experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of a wide variety of compressed air or vacuum equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Must have ASSE 6040; ASSE 6030 or ASSE 6020 credentials.

Education

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.

Skills

• Must be comfortable using a computer.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
• Customer focused and take ownership of meeting the customer’s needs.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.

Travel

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel on short notice may be required.
• Occasional overnight travel is necessary.
