Technical Safety Services (TSS) is hiring a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites, perform testing, calibration, and repairs in labs, cleanrooms, and facilities. You’ll work independently in the field with a company vehicle and support from training and mentorship.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage time and travel, including overnights. A clean driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Background in customer service and some mechanical or electrical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work.
• Good communication, basic math skills, and comfort using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time, and travel (including some overnights).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory, driving about 30–300 miles per day
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day
