Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems at a Wichita, KS site. The role emphasizes installation, maintenance, water analysis, and customer-focused problem solving.

You will work across diverse industrial environments, requiring strong troubleshooting, safety, and independent work skills, with occasional travel to nearby sites within the territory.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in electrical, electronic technology, instrumentation, or mechanical engineering; high school diploma accepted.
• 2–5 years of experience in instrumentation/electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or related technical training.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; learner permits not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation at customer locations.
• Perform water testing (pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA) and log data.
• Provide technical consultation, training, and solutions to customer teams.
• Calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventive maintenance, and diagnose issues on-site or remotely.
• Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and safety compliance.
• Support multiple customer sites within territory and coordinate with sales teams.
