Job summary

Resourceful Talent Group is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to support installation, maintenance and repair of industrial reciprocating compressors across North America. This hands-on role suits technicians who thrive in the field, work independently and communicate clearly with customers.

You will travel about 80% of the time across the United States, with occasional trips to Canada and Spain for training, and provide emergency support including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing industrial reciprocating compressors or similar rotating equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service in the field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and compressor overhauls.
• Install, inspect, repair, and commission industrial reciprocating compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Replace relays, sensors, transmitters, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting when required.
• Prepare service reports using Microsoft Word and Excel and communicate with customers using Outlook.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism while working on customer sites.
• Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States, with occasional travel to Canada and Spain for training.
• Provide emergency support, including occasional weekend and holiday work when required.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience replacing relays, sensors, transmitters, and performing basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 80%.
• Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Ariel, Burckhardt Compression, HOERBIGER, Kaeser, Belliss & Morcom, AF Compressors, Ingersoll Rand, or similar.
