Resourceful Talent Group is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to support installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial reciprocating compressors across North America. The role suits hands-on technicians with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoy travel, working independently, and helping industrial customers in the field.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and commission equipment, read schematics, and troubleshoot PLCs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing industrial reciprocating compressors or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Willingness to travel ~80% and work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and compressor overhauls.
• Install, inspect, repair and commission compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Replace relays, sensors, transmitters; basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Prepare service reports using Word/Excel; communicate with customers via Outlook.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on customer sites.
• Travel across the United States ~80%, with Canada and Spain training.
• Provide emergency support, including occasional weekend/holiday work.

• Replace relays, sensors, transmitters, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting when required.
• Prepare service reports using Microsoft Word and Excel and communicate with customers using Outlook.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism while working on customer sites.
• Travel approximately 80% throughout the United States, with occasional travel to Canada and Spain for training.
• Provide emergency support, including occasional weekend and holiday work when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience servicing industrial reciprocating compressors, industrial engines, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Strong experience performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overhauls.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience replacing relays, sensors, transmitters, and performing basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 80%.
• Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Ariel, Burckhardt Compression, HOERBIGER, Kaeser, Belliss & Morcom, AF Compressors, Ingersoll Rand, or similar.
