Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Field Service Technician II for a 100% onsite role in Chantilly, VA. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain two-way radio and wireless systems for commercial and public-sector clients, working independently in the field and providing expert technical support.

Responsibilities include programming codeplugs, supporting UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz equipment, and using spectrum analyzers and multimeters.

Competenze

• 3+ years with two-way radio/wireless systems installation or troubleshooting.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex, Harris, or EF Johnson.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints and interpret technical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel regionally and participate in on-call shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass certifications within 6 months if needed.

Mansioni

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, program, and maintain two-way radio and wireless systems.
• Create and modify mid-level radio programming codeplugs with multiple channels and zones.
• Support UHF/VHF and 800/900 MHz systems, dispatch consoles, repeaters, and base stations.
• Troubleshoot BDA/DAS and wireless broadband equipment and related hardware.
• Diagnose equipment with spectrum analyzers, watt meters, and multimeters.
• Interpret schematics and technical documentation; advise customers on solutions.
• Provide onsite customer support and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Travel regionally and participate in on-call rotations as required.
