Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install, wire, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain automated traffic enforcement systems in the field. You will travel independently to cities, work with subcontractors and ATS engineering staff, and install and service red light camera and speed enforcement equipment.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% across the US.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification within 60 days from date of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years troubleshooting electronic components, 110 volt power and data wiring.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Familiar with wireless devices and connectivity.
• Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot electronic/electrical devices.
• Strong electronics and computer skills for configurations and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly and safely in the field.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time across the US.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical work, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical and data hookups for equipment.
• Install digital camera systems to street poles, sensors, DSL and wireless communications, power & control box.
• Tune/configure red light camera and speed enforcement systems in the field.
• Support installation of camera equipment in the field, often with subcontractors.
• Plan and manage maintenance routines; diagnose and repair system issues.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and report service data.
