Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Service Technician II to independently repair lifesaving medical devices onsite at hospitals. You will lead troubleshooting of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and may assist training other team members.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and DOT physical. Expect on-call duties, travel with a company vehicle, and potential growth within the field service team.

Qualifications

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Able to troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Must have valid driver's license and DOT physical card.
• Prior technical or mechanical repair work required; applicable trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Ability to troubleshoot devices and repair any malfunctioning components.
• Ability to load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate a fleet vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
