Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and power generators. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs to keep job sites running smoothly.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on a variety of equipment.
• Repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
