Job summary

Adaptec Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Modesto, CA to install, maintain, and repair electro‑mechanical material handling equipment in high‑volume warehouses. You will service conveyors, motors, gearboxes, lifts and related systems, working closely with customers to ensure peak performance.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, perform wiring and testing, and document work in the Field Service Reports.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED or equivalent required; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and 2 years troubleshooting electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electro‑mechanical material handling equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls within territory; travel may be required and is paid.
• Carry out maintenance on machinery at client sites as scheduled.
• Document all work in the service system and communicate status with clients and leadership.
