Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our East Syracuse, NY territory.

You’ll troubleshoot, repair, install and upgrade printers, copiers, and other office technology, supporting customers to keep equipment running smoothly. This hands-on role offers dynamic daily challenges, opportunities for training, and collaboration with a global technology organization.

Competenze

• 3+ years of technical repair, service, installation, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills with electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business.

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician II in East Syracuse, NY.

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians to support first-call efficiency

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• $20.00-$23.00 hourly rate, depending on experience.

• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus up to $450 per month.
