Job summary

Technical Safety Services (TSS) is seeking a Field Service Technician in Orlando, FL. You will travel daily to customer sites, work independently in the field, and service critical lab equipment to keep environments safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree considered a plus.
• Background in customer service and some mechanical or electrical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work.
• Good communication, basic math and comfort using Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel (including overnight) and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory.
• Operate and maintain a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform testing, calibration, and repairs in various lab environments.
• Provide clear communication and act as main on-site contact for customers.

Your Day-to-Day Environment

• Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory, driving about 30–300 miles per day
• Work independently out of your own company-provided service vehicle
• Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day

What You'll Take Ownership Of

• Perform testing, certification, calibration, and repairs across different lab environments with a strong focus on quality
• Work directly with clients to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and make sure the job is done right
• Build strong relationships and be the main point of contact for customers on site
• Complete reports and required paperwork on time to keep projects on track and clients update

What You'll Bring
