Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Albany, NY to service printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer sites. You will troubleshoot, install, and upgrade equipment while maintaining positive customer relationships across your territory.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of technical repair experience, intermediate computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. What you’ll do

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $20.00-$24.50, depending on experience.
• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $6,000 per year—$450 per month, plus an accelerator.
• Auto Reimbursement Program or Fleet Vehicle/Gas Card based on availability.
