Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Morrisville, NC. You will maintain, repair, and support office technology at customer sites, including printers and copiers, while handling installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

This hands-on role requires strong electro-mechanical aptitude and reliable field service skills. You will diagnose issues, train customers, and document activities while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment or related tech.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude are required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage as per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience.
