Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join the Greensboro, NC team. You will travel to customer sites to maintain, service, and repair office equipment, with a focus on printers, copiers, and related devices across the territory.

You will diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and provide on-site training, while rebuilding components at the shop when needed. A strong mechanical aptitude and customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in technical repair, service, or installation of copier/office equipment (preferred).
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Overview

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician II in Greensboro, NC. You will be on-site maintaining, servicing, and repairing office equipment throughout the territory, providing on-site technical support for black and white, color, and multifunctional printers, copiers, and other devices. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career within Toshiba and directly impact customers and local organizations by ensuring equipment functions properly to support their operations.

Your work will involve traveling to customer locations to deliver printer and copier maintenance, service, repairs, and installations, with a focus on delivering effective solutions for print management needs.

What You'll Do

• Provide printer and copier maintenance, service, and repairs to customers.


• Deliver product training efficiently and effectively.


• Diagnose equipment issues and carry out installations and upgrades.


• Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.


• Complete field calls according to priority while practicing effective time management.


• Continuously enhance your technical skills for field assignments.


• Rebuild components at the shop.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.


• 3 years or more of expertise in one or more of the following:


• Technical repair, service, and installation of copier/office equipment (Preferred).


• Technical service, repair or training of Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge, or Fingerprint equipment.


• Technical service, repair, or support of comparable products.


• Advanced education or certification or internships in respective areas can be used to meet experience requirement.


• Intermediate computer skills and good electro-mechanical skills.


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.


• A valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions entailing use of personal car while on company business.

Earn Well

• $17.00 to $19.00 hourly rate, depending on experience.
