Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Tech II to perform safe, high-quality field work in field services, executing work orders, maintaining assets, and delivering responsive customer service.

Required are 2–4 years in water/wastewater/public works, a strong safety mindset, and CMMS/work order proficiency. A high school diploma is required; the role is field-based with outdoor work and lifting 50+ lbs. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Complete service orders (turn-on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs and document results.
• Investigate high/low usage, no-reads, and tamper alarms; escalate anomalies.
• Perform utility locates/mark-outs and schedule customer appointments professionally.
• Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools.
• Support emergency response and after-hours rotations as assigned.
• Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues.
• Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites.

Position Summary

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Field‑based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, energized equipment, and uneven terrain.
