Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic to service and maintain District Steam, HVAC, and related systems. You will perform installation, repair, and troubleshooting across steam, hot water, chilled water, and controls networks in field environments.

The role requires 5+ years in trades, specialized licenses (Journeyman Pipefitter, Refrigeration/HVAC, and Electrician or Plumber), and a valid LA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in field service trades.
• Must hold Journeyman Pipefitter and Refrigeration Technician (HVAC) licenses, plus Electrician or Plumber license.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair and troubleshooting of steam, hot water, chilled water, and HVAC systems and associated controls.
• Test, repair, replace and service major components such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam traps, and condensate systems.
• Prepare technical reports describing conditions and work performed; document service orders for billing and project work.
