Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel across the United States, helping customers organize and optimize maintenance shops.

You will install inventory systems, label and stock products, and train customers on ordering technology including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.

A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required. Expect up to 90% travel, ongoing training, and competitive hourly pay.

Field Service Technician

What You Will Do

You will be the face of Imperial at customer locations, partnering with our Sales team to create organized, efficient maintenance shops. Your work will include:

• Installing and organizing inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin setups.
• Identifying, labeling, stocking, and optimizing maintenance products for improved workflow.
• Training customers on our ordering technology, including scanners, mobile apps, and web tools.
• Traveling Monday through Friday to customer locations throughout the United States while building strong customer relationships.

You do not need previous Field Service experience—we will train you! We are looking for someone who is:

• Comfortable with frequent overnight travel (up to 90% during scheduled work weeks).
• Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands‑on work.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in active shop environments.

A valid driver's license and high school diploma (or equivalent) are required.
