Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Sumter, SC. This entry-level role performs labor tasks across projects with an emphasis on safety, physical endurance, and teamwork.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a TWIC. The position requires extensive travel and a willingness to work in various environments with PPE. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

• Demonstrates a strong mechanical ability.
• Clean driving record and valid state-issued Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug & alcohol screens, Haz-wopper 40-Hour Training, Confined Space Entry training, basic safety reciprocal, and various site specific training courses.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker’s Identification Card).
• Ability to work at elevations and inside confined spaces for extended periods of time.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely at all times.
• Performs all job-related functions safely, honestly, ethically, and compliantly.
• Engages in strenuous physical labor including lifting heavy objects, standing long periods, climbing ladders and scaffolds.
• Willingness to travel for 4–5 weeks at a time and longer days (>8 hours).
• Work in potentially hazardous environments with exposure to hazardous substances.
• Operate small equipment (air monitoring devices, power packs, air compressors, pumps).
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, lift equipment).
• Coordinate with EH&S, HR and Training to ensure training and screenings are current.
• Complete required paperwork (time cards, permits, inspections, JSA, safety audits).
• Be available for on-call emergencies and act as a team player.

Apply today!**About the role**The Field Technician is an entry level position that performs a variety of labor tasks on Reworld projects according to the defined scope of work.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary duties include, but are not limited to the following: ● Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, procedures and acting in a safe manner at all times● Performs all job related functions in a Safe, Honest, Ethical and Compliant fashion.
