Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Avon Lake, OH is hiring a Field Service Technician I to prepare for transport of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. You will load and unload tanks and tankers, inspect equipment, hoses and connections, and perform confined space entry as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), ability to travel 10-25%, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work in confined spaces and various weather conditions; OSHA rules followed.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Must qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Performs duties in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.
• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
