Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician I to join our team in Pottstown, PA. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade office technology, keeping printers, copiers, and MPS environments running at peak performance.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment while delivering excellent customer service and on-site support across your territory. The role emphasizes safety, training, and continuous learning in a global tech company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of technical repair, service, installation, training, or support experience with copiers and office equipment.
• Related education or internships can substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and office tech at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete required training and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Document service activities accurately and follow safety policies.

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician I in Pottstown, PA.

You'll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you'll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you'll do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Experience with document management systems, multifunction printers (MFPs), print devices, and/or 6 months of Shop Tech experience is a plus
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly pay of $18.50 - $23.50, depending on experience
