Job summary

Technical Safety Services LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site services to laboratories, pharmacies, and cleanrooms. You’ll travel daily, work independently, and develop hands-on skills through mentorship and training.

This role emphasizes customer interaction, problem solving, and accurate reporting. You’ll test, certify, calibrate, and repair equipment, serve as the main on-site contact, and grow with opportunities for career advancement in a field-based

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's a plus.
  • Background in customer service and some mechanical or electrical experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical work.
  • Good communication, basic math, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnights, and a valid driver’s license.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, or hands-on experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, certification, calibration, and repairs.

Your Day-to-Day Environment
  • Travel daily to customer sites in your assigned territory, driving about 30–300 miles per day
  • Work independently out of your own company‑provided service vehicle
  • Lift, carry, and move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs while standing and walking for most of the day
What You'll Take Ownership Of
  • Perform testing, certification, calibration, and repairs across different lab environments with a strong focus on quality
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and make sure the job is done right
  • Build strong relationships and be the main point of contact for customers on site
  • Complete reports and required paperwork on time to keep projects on track and clients update

What You'll Bring
