Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs on hydraulics and related system equipment for customers, with regional responsibilities.

Under direct supervision, you will install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, communicate with customers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This role offers on-call support and training opportunities for customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and 0 to 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work effectively with customers, peers and management to resolve client issues.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repair or part replacement.
• Communicates technical information to customers and recommends system enhancements or repairs.
• Ensures compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
