Safe Industries seeks a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair fire apparatus, heavy trucks, and emergency response equipment. You will work independently, ensure safety and quality, and support shop productivity while meeting customer needs.

The role requires a valid CDL (or ability to obtain within six months), 2–3 years of heavy-vehicle repair experience, and proficiency with diagnostic software, OEM information, and shop tools to complete repairs accurately and

Qualificações

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in heavy truck, diesel, automotive, commercial vehicle, or related equipment repair.
• Valid CDL at hire or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage repair activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using diagnostic software, OEM service information, shop equipment, and hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate company vehicles and CDL-compliant vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire apparatus and heavy trucks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and multiplex systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repair activities to support reliability.
• Document work orders and repair status in company systems.
• Communicate repair progress and needs to shop leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Participate in technical training and ongoing skill development.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork with customers and colleagues.
