SAFE Industries is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, repair, and inspect fire apparatus and heavy trucks. You will work independently in a fast-paced shop, using diagnostic software and OEM information to ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid CDL (or ability to obtain within six months), 2–3 years of related repair experience, and strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required at hire or within six months.
• 2–3 years of heavy truck or related equipment repair experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop.
• Experience using diagnostic software and OEM service information.
• Ability to complete accurate digital work orders and repair documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair fire apparatus and heavy trucks.
• Safely operate company vehicles and CDL-required vehicles as applicable.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and multiplex systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to support reliability.
• Document repair status and labor activity in work orders.
• Communicate progress and issues to shop leadership and colleagues.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
