Job summary

Peterson Machinery Co. in Klamath Falls, OR is seeking a Field Technician to perform service activities at job sites and customer locations for customer and/or sales and rental fleet equipment.

You will travel to sites to perform maintenance and repairs, analyze and diagnose malfunctions, and write accurate service reports. The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or related field, with experience in heavy equipment repair, and a valid driver's license with the potential

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diesel Technology or related field preferred, with 6 years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record; ability to obtain CDL with DOT Medical Card.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment at customer sites.
• Document diagnosis and repairs in service reports.
• Maintain safety and professional appearance of company vehicle.
• Communicate with customers to provide status updates.
• Follow manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure quality work.
