Qualifications

• 3-5 years working as equipment technician.
• Able to work independently of direct supervision in a field environment.
• Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians.
• Spanish speaking is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to determine cause of failure following established guidelines.
• Repair machine components in the field with high quality.
• Recondition and repair equipment and components.
• Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs.
• Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs.
• Perform repairs in a safe and effective manner.
• Ensure repairs are completed to standard and cosmetic appearance.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Maintain records for time, parts, and materials.
• Report daily records from the field.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Wear PPE and maintain professional appearance.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally.
