Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Field Service Specialist to coordinate service of equipment away from branch locations. You will dispatch field maintenance, assist in tracking costs, and input work orders.

You will communicate with rental customers and internal staff, coordinate road mechanics, order parts, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies. This role requires a high school diploma and experience in heavy equipment or equipment rental service; Herc Rentals offers

Qualifications

• High School diploma with experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• Prior experience in the equipment rental industry within a service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with customer communications and troubleshooting calls.
• Process field service work orders.
• Order parts.
• Coordinate outside vendors.
• Coordinate and dispatch road mechanics.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and escalate issues to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
