Power Equipment Company in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team and help drive our service objectives in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field heavy equipment service, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering first-class customer service to keep customers’ machines up and running.

Qualifications

• CDL B License required or able to obtain
• High School diploma and technical training preferred
• Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required
• Own tools and willingness to travel to field sites

Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain organized field work area
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain accurate service records and billing information
• Overhaul and test equipment to ensure performance
• Communicate needs to shop management and customers
