Job summary

Burwell Material Handling is hiring a Field Service Technician to service forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment across Miami, FL and surrounding areas. You’ll travel from a company vehicle, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in ongoing training to grow your career with a growing company.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and ownership of service quality, with opportunities to mentor junior techs and promote maintenance programs and parts sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift, heavy equipment, diesel, or automotive repair.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, boom lifts, and other warehouse vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, LP/diesel engine, and electrical system issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint and fix problems; perform preventative maintenance.
• Service multiple brands and participate in manufacturer-certified training.
