Job summary

Brabazon is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician based in Green Bay, WI. You will interact with external customers to provide technical service and repair, while coordinating with the internal service team to keep operations efficient.

Key duties include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, creating service quotes, and contributing to training and SOP development. Travel overnight may be required and overtime may be requested.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Three plus years of maintenance/repair experience preferred across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Must have own basic tools; job-specific tooling provided or evaluated on request.
• Solid time management and customer-service skills; able to travel overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service/work order requests.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on air compressors, air dryers, pumps, and vacuum equipment.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and support service quotes.
• Assist Service Manager with quotes and training material development.

Brabazon is looking for a full-time Field Service Technician out of our Green Bay, WI location.

You will be responsible for interacting with our external customers to provide excellent technical customer service and repair and interacting with the internal service team to keep the department running efficiently.

This job is for you if you:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and be willing to occasionally travel overnight
• Willing and able to be on-call in rotation with other technicians
• Provide your own basic tools (job specific tools will be provided or evaluated upon request)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in various industrial environments with extremes in hot and cold temperatures
• Ability to withstand continuous walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneeling

Your daily work in this role will include:

• Responding to customer service/work order requests
• Performing routine, preventive maintenance and repairs along with installation of air compressors, air dryers, pumps, and vacuum equipment
• Performing diagnostic assessments
• Assisting Service Manager with preparation of service quotes
• Assisting with training and developing new training programs
• Assisting with writing SOP's

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED equivalent is required; however, a 2 year technical degree or higher is preferred.
• Three (3)+ years of maintenance and repair experience is preferred to include but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, pipe fitting, programming PLCs and welding is preferred, but not required.
• Must have own basic tools; job specific tooling will be provided or evaluated upon request.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the Internet.
• Be self-motivated and possess excellent time management skills with a strong sense of customer service and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player with internal and external staff members.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and be willing to travel overnight on an occasional basis.
• Willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends when needed or job requires with little notice and be on call for a week at a time, including holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of others, both in writing and verbally, with people of various educational and technical backgrounds, both inside and outside the company.
• Previous experience with pumps, compressors, refrigeration, piping, and vacuum equipment is an asset, but not required.
