Kinsley Power Systems is seeking Field Service Technicians to service standby generators across the Northeast. If you have experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment, this is a path to grow with a family-owned company dedicated to safety, training, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience with standby generator systems (8kW–1MW) or similar engines.
• Experience with engines, electrical systems, or heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Able to participate in an on-call, rotating schedule.
• Must provide own tools (multimeter, hand-tools).
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain one.
• Valid DOT Card and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW–1MW).
• Troubleshoot and test generators including load-bank tests and start-ups.
• Prepare accurate quotes and complete work orders.
• Work with residential or industrial generator units.
• Maintain safety standards and communicate with customers.
• Support on-call rotation as required.
