Job summary

Wolverine Power Systems is seeking a Technical Field Service Representative I to provide on-site generator repair, preventive maintenance, and installation support. This role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites across Michigan and beyond.

You will read manuals and schematics, perform mechanical and electrical work, generate reports in FieldServio within 24 hours, and stay current with NFPA and state regulations. Valid driver license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver License.
• 1 year of mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, AC/DC circuitry, and power generation.
• Ability to obtain Generac certification in air-cooled and protector series courses.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Read manuals and schematics to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to create detailed reports within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical repair and troubleshooting of generators.
• Provide emergency repairs after hours, weekends, and holidays as directed.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance service and repairs on generators.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders for maintenance/repairs.
• Report faults and unusual situations to the service manager promptly.
• Stay current on NFPA and state regulations for Emergency Power Supply Systems.
• Create and submit reports for all work performed in FieldServio.
• Communicate findings via phone, email, and in person.
