Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing is seeking a Field Service Technician who will provide on-site installation support, troubleshooting, and customer service for generator packages and enclosures at customer locations. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and professionalism while working in diverse field environments.

The Technician represents Fidelity Manufacturing on job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of related mechanical, fabrication, or installation experience preferred.
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (lull, boom lifts, scissor lifts).
• Ability to work at elevated heights and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, troubleshooting, and installation support at customer locations.
• Interpret customer requirements and resolve field-related challenges.
• Guide and coordinate with on-site technicians, contractors, and crane operators.
• Assist with rigging, positioning, and installation of generator packages and related components.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, lull, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
• Maintain professional appearance, organization, and cleanliness of service truck and equipment.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and internal departments regarding project status.
• Travel extensively as required to support customer needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to service activities.
