Job summary

Calibration Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites for start-up, calibration, installation, and repair of gas detection systems.

You will train plant personnel and prepare reports for PSM documentation, with a typical week including three weeknights in a hotel and rest at home as needed. The role requires strong electrical/electronic skills, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Understand electronic circuit and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, relay logic, and industrial control systems.
• Experience using a digital multimeter and troubleshooting 120VAC/24VDC circuits.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, trouble shoot and repair gas detection systems and sensors.
• Translate system operation scope and user functions to plant personnel.
• Process reports for safety documentation to meet OSHA standards.
• Contact manufacturers/distributors to maintain/calibrate equipment.
• Determine best long-term repair method and translate solutions.
