Job summary

Grover Gaming, now part of Light & Wonder, seeks a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair arcade games and related systems across the Richmond area. The role involves daily travel to customer sites and performing preventive maintenance to ensure precise operation of machines.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting cabinet components, wiring locations, setting up routers, and handling IP and network tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Understand and embody the company's Mission, Vision, and Values, acting as an ambassador for these principles.
• Travel to locations performing various functions and tasks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting techniques on main cabinet components (bill acceptors, printers, monitors, logic box).
• Replace broken parts (bill acceptors, printers, monitors, logic box).
• Operate hand tools, soldering equipment, electrical test gear as needed.
• Troubleshoot POS and/or server issues (no internet, IP conflicts, printer setup).
• Move machines weighing over 400 pounds as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on each device type.
• Complete work orders to record repairs and service.
• Setup and configure the router for a location.
• Wire a location to avoid loops and ensure reliability.
• Assign static IP addresses to game terminals, routers, servers, and POS.
• Provide exceptional service to guests and employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
