Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a Service Technician to provide professional service and support for customers by performing field service installation, startup, repairs and maintenance of products as needed.

The role involves on-site tasks, customer interaction, and occasional travel to project sites. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining fuel tanks, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with fuel tank installation and maintenance preferred.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA physical requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Ability to drive to various locations for necessary work.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits.
• Manage onsite tank installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Operate company vehicle in a safe manner.
• Follow all field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• On call required for contaminations, marine and spills.
• May travel out of town/state for projects.
