Job summary

Service Station Systems, Inc. (SSS) is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our San Jose team. You will perform maintenance on fuel dispensers, troubleshoot leaks, install and replace components, and support tank monitoring at customer sites.

We provide paid training, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits, with a schedule of 4x10 hour nights and occasional overnight stays paid; safety training is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity with hand tools and basic power tools is required.
• Ability to use laptops/tablets (iPad, phone) for notes and reporting.
• Experience in related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on fuel dispensers and replace components as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair dispenser leaks and related components.
• Assist with tank monitoring and sump pump operations; install or replace sump pumps.
• Perform pressure testing and replace meters, filters, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues at dispensers or POS systems.
• Follow safety protocols, take detailed job notes, and update systems.
• Maintain organized company vehicle and drive to customer sites.
• Overnight stays occasionally (paid).
