Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Service Technician to provide field service installation, startup, repairs and maintenance of products. You will serve customers on-site, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operation of equipment.

The role requires valid driver's license with clean MVR; CDL preferred; DOT/FMCSA requirements; ability to travel for projects; strong troubleshooting and repair skills; and collaboration with the technical team.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
CDL preferred but not required.
Experience with fuel tank installation and maintenance.
DOT and FMCSA physical requirements must be met.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
Manage onsite tank installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization.
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
Build positive relationships with customers.
On call required for contaminations, marine and spills.
May travel out of town/state for projects.
