Job summary

Burwell Material Handling, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment across Miami, FL and adjacent areas. You’ll work from a company vehicle, travel to customer sites, diagnose problems, and perform repairs to keep warehouses running.

You’ll receive ongoing training, advance your hands-on skills, and grow with a company that's expanding.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing forklift, heavy equipment, diesel, or automotive systems.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic knowledge.
• Familiar with diagnostic software and testing tools.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Willingness to travel within service territory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, boom lifts, and other warehouse vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, LP/diesel engine, and electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to pinpoint and fix problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Service multiple brands including Hyundai, Bobcat, Clark, Genie, JLG, and Skyjack.
• Participate in manufacturer-certified training to stay up to date.
• Promote maintenance programs, inspections, and parts.
• Inspect and maintain your service vehicle, tools, and inventory for safety.
• Support and mentor junior techs when needed.
